Don Rodney Junio
Senior Research Assistant
Don is a Senior Research Assistant with UNU-CS. He has worked on projects related to Technology Policy and Information and Communications Technology for Development over the last 7 years as part of his professional and academic career. His research interests focus on meaningful access and use of ICTs and analyzing the social, economic, and political impacts of ICT policies and interventions.
His previous professional stint was with the Center for Multilateralism Studies at S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore where he worked as an Associate Research Fellow and focused on issues related to economic and diplomatic multilateralism with specific reference to ASEAN and the broader East Asia region. He also had previous research experience in the private sector and with policy think tanks including Technology Research Project Corporate (Singapore) and LIRNEasia.
Don holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman, an MSc in International Political Economy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and an MA in Economics from Kyoto University, Japan.
