    Lisandra Fesalbon was a Visiting Research Assistant at the UNU Institute in Macau. She is a recent graduate of the University of Macau, where she studied international relations. During her undergraduate studies, she has worked as a research assistant for Professor Timothy Kerswell. Previously, she was an exchange student at Maastricht University and obtained a minor degree in Globalization and Development. She has done research on cyber-nationalism in China, gender inequality in Japan, and migration and populism in Europe. Her research interests include gender studies, migration, assimilation and multiculturalism, and European affairs. After completing her time at UNU Institute in Macau, she will pursue her master’s degree in European Studies at the Catholic University of Leuven. Lisandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and Public Affairs from the University of Macau, China.
