〉 Naa Ansah-Koi
Naa brings to UNU-CS a wealth of experience in community development. Having worked with various organizations in Ghana, West Africa, she is particularly interested in using research to provide practical solutions to challenges encountered in the communities she interacts with. Her most recent research was in Accra’s most famous market, Makola, where she investigated the mobile phone usage patterns of urban traders. Naa’s primary research interests are related to the effects of globalization, particularly regarding the use of communication technologies by underrepresented groups. Her other research interests include gender, migration and artisanal fisheries in developing countries. At UNU-CS, she assists the EQUALS Lab. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana, Legon and her Master of Philosophy Degree from the University of Bergen, Norway.
