Sofia Jesus is a Communications and Outreach Consultant for the Institute. She has worked for over 18 years as a journalist and editor in the press, digital media and radio.

Sofia has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences, from NOVA University Lisbon, Portugal, and a Master’s degree in China-Europe Comparative Studies, from the University of Saint Joseph, Macau. With a special interest in education, she has also received training in Social Education and Community Intervention and has a Pedagogical Skills Certificate. She also teaches Portuguese as a Second Language at the Macau Polytechnic University.
