Xia FAN is the Communications and External Relations Officer for the Institute. Xia works in media for the past 10 years, with experience as business reporter for Bloomberg Businessweek/China as well as investor and post-investment manager in media and entertainment in China.

Xia graduated from Peking University with Bachelor of Laws in International Studies and Diplomacy, before moving to the United States for post graduate program at New York University, where she received M.A. in Arts Politics from Tisch School of the Arts.
