Un, Christy

Overview
  • Christy is a Visiting Research Assistant with the Cyber Resilience project at the United Nations University Institute in Macau. She finds meaning in empowering local and disadvantaged communities by telling their stories and searching for inclusive sustainable development solutions for them.

    During her time in university, she co-led a group of students to start a project to empower low-income and disadvantaged women through entrepreneurship, and she was also a student correspondent writing about international affairs. Committed to international development, she has interned with UNHCR in Zaatari camp, Jordan, where she published articles and videos for refugee campaigns and awareness-raising.

    Christy holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
